General Questions
Do you only offer online appointments?
Yes. We only offer online/Telehealth appointments. They are available to clients across Australia. Online sessions provide a convenient and secure way to access psychological support from your home or workplace.
How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be requested through our contact form. Once we receive your enquiry, we will be in touch to discuss availability and next steps.
What do I need for an online/Telehealth appointment?
You will need:
A private and quiet space
A reliable internet connection
A computer or tablet (with adequate sized screen)
Camera and audio capabilities
Instructions for accessing your appointment will be provided before your session.
What are your fees?
Fees vary depending on the service being provided. Please contact us directly for current fee information and available rebates where applicable.
What is your cancellation policy?
Fees are payable at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or missed appointments will may incur the full appointment fee.
Medicare rebates and private health insurance rebates are not available for cancellation fees.
Note: Fees associated with forensic assessments, court attendance, and consultancy services are subject to separate service agreements and may attract additional cancellation charges.
Psychological therapy
Do I need a referral to see a psychologist?
No. You can book an appointment without a referral. However, if you wish to access Medicare rebates through a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will need a referral from your GP, psychiatrist, or eligible medical practitioner.
What happens during the first appointment?
Your initial appointment focuses on understanding your current concerns, personal history, goals, and what has brought you to therapy.
Together, we will discuss:
Your current challenges
Relevant background information
Desired outcomes
Recommendations for treatment/support
This session helps establish a tailored plan that meets your individual needs.
Is everything I discuss confidential?
Confidentiality is a fundamental part of psychological treatment.
There are some legal and ethical exceptions where information may need to be disclosed, including situations involving serious risk to your safety or the safety of others, or where disclosure is required by law. These limits will be discussed with you during the consent process.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your goals, circumstances, and the nature of the concerns being addressed.
Some clients attend for short-term support, while others engage in longer-term therapeutic work.
Treatment recommendations will be discussed collaboratively throughout the process.
Clinical supervision
Do you only offer clinical supervision to Ahpra registered psychologists?
Yes
Do you offer supervision for psychologists working towards practice endorsement in clinical psychology?
Yes
Do you offer clinical supervision for students?
No
Do you offer group supervision?
